Yi Li You

Yi Li You is a licensed social worker and herself a Chinese immigrant. In 2002 Yi Li founded the Twin Cities Chinese Counseling Center (TCCCC) to better serve the needs of the Chinese community. Widely dispersed throughout the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota, and considered by many to have less critical needs than other immigrant communities in Minnesota, TCCCC worked to bridge this gap and provide the social services needed by Chinese immigrants, refugees and elderly.
In 2004 TCCCC acquired nonprofit status and changed its name to the Chinese Social Service Center (CSSC) in 2006. CSSC continues to provide the social services to the Chinese community, and works to broaden its range of services by adding new programs and partnering with other organizations in the Twin Cities.
